Early last year I got to work on some concept art for a game called Hyper Rush, being developed by Mighty Kingdom.
The game went through a few iterations and for one of them I was tasked with exploring what different proportions could look like for the game characters. Given the game was about racing and players would mostly see the racing orbs, I decided to go with a more simplistic style. The idea was to also try to design a limited amount of characters around specific archetypes.
